RICO
For the Rico brief, a Spanish flexitarian tapas restaurant, I created a brand identity inspired by the shapes and forms of vegetarian tapas dishes— like patatas bravas, tortillas and croquettes. I wanted the wordmark and graphic elements to feel like a top down view of a table full of shared plates, capturing that sociable, laid-back atmosphere of tapas dining. The colour palette is pulled from the Spanish landscape— white buildings with orange rooftops and blue skies. The brand is designed to feel warm, welcoming and modern, with a youthful energy.
